Dancing for overall wellness

Let’s define Wellness and What do I do?

I will be talking about what I do to for my wellness in the future. I dance. Putting it simply. The ups and downs of my love of dancing are ongoing and I will cover that in the future.

Dancing on and off all my life I currently enjoy a studio in Brisbane #River city ballroom and practise the Tango, Argentine Tango, Waltz, Quickstep, Rumba and lastly Samba.  I move from Bronze to Silver then Gold. Currently, finishing my Bronze level due to my on and off starts. I don’t perform for competition (have done that) I do it for enjoyment and love.

The studio #River city ballroom offers support to a foundation about domestic violence and the proceeds from their Gala Ball twice a year goes to that foundation. A subject close to my heart. Wellness means that one strives for balance throughout one’s whole life.  It is a lifestyle and is not an end to be achieved.

TANGO!

Argentine tango is a musical genre and accompanying social dance originating at the end of the 19th century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. It typically has a or rhythmic time signature, and two or three parts repeating in patterns such as ABAB or ABCAC.
